Various studies indicate that the sale of eBooks continue to remain a large percentage of total book sales in the United States. While publishers continue to print books, and in many instances shift to Print on Demand (POD)\u00a0their product to market, many are also switching to\u00a0electronic book format. In some instances this is to help\u00a0reduce costs, speed delivery of books to market, simplify the production process and address the demands of a changing consumer market, which is purchasing electronic reading devices\u00a0in high numbers.<\/p>\n
