\u00a0\"Two<\/a>Once you identify where you will place your efforts as an author and have developed a tangible book or product, find ways to put yourself in front of people so that you can share your work(s). By ensuring that people hear or see you or experience your materials in some form on a regular basis you help ensure that they will remember and relate to you.<\/p>\n

Use personal contacts, your writing, and technology to gain a foothold and stand out from all the other authors and books on the market. In a world where people are overwhelmed by information, you need to be unique and memorable in some way. Finding a particular niche and specializing in only one or two areas or genres is a way of helping accomplish that.<\/p>\n

Contact people who have similar products or books and a website. Once you find them, form a relationship, share common content or interests, and ask if they would like to cross-link or connect to your Website. Provide them with your URL and get theirs so that you can add them to your site. This strengthens your appearance on the Internet. This is because having links to your site can generate more search engine traffic since search engines look for well-connected Websites.<\/p>\n
